— Alec, Fazbear Frights, Book #2: Fetch
|
Alec is the main protagonist of Lonely Freddy, the second story of Fazbear Frights: Fetch. He is the older brother of Hazel.
Appearance[]
Alec is a young teenager that is said to be large for his age. He describes himself a having untidy, curly blond hair, light green eyes, and freckles. Additionally, he has a slightly upturned nose, much like his mother, and has braces.
Personality[]
Alec is a person who seeks negative attention since this seems like the only attention he's capable of getting. He is a clever kid, very good at planning and carrying out schemes, but he thinks he knows more than he probably really does, especially about people and their true natures. When his little sister, Hazel is born, he finds his parents lavish attention and praise on her, treating him as a comparison point, she is 'good', and he is 'bad'. She acts polite and sweet, but he convinces himself that she is out to get him and that her kind nature is all an act since he sees her as the reason that his parents treat him like such a bad seed.
History[]
From a young age, Alec was told that he is a "bad" kid. As he grew up, he decided good/bad is all relative and subjective. From his sister's birth on, he acts out, like a bully, and does everything he can to push his family away, especially his little sister, Hazel.
A week before Hazel's birthday at their local Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, she approaches Alec with a plan to switch roles for the week, she will act 'bad', and he'll play the 'good' child. Alec's parents are obsessed with parenting books and trying to "fix" Alec, or his mother, Meg, is at least, this is extremely annoying to Alec. Hazel, who has cottoned onto her parents', proposes The Switch as a means to counteract their latest parenting book strategy. Hazel proves herself to be impressively good at being 'bad', which surprises Alec. Despite them getting along during the time, Alec thinks it's a all a big con and comes up with a plan of his own to his own to expose her for being the brat he thinks she is. He thinks if she doesn't win a Yarg Foxy at her party, she would throw a tantrum and act like the brat he's convinced she really is.
On the day of the party, Alec steals what he believes to be the only Yarg Foxy ticket in the Wind Tunnel attraction before forcing Hazel to go into it. Hazel comes out with a Yarg Foxy ticket and, infuriated, Alec begins to bully her. Due to the stress, she leaves to go vomit. When she returns, she offers her Yarg Foxy plush to Alec, though he only snatches it, tearing one of the plush's arms in the process, and storms off to the back rooms to sulk. Angry, he punches a wall and hears a thump on the other side. He decides to go to the storage room to investigate.
In the room, he finds a lot of discontinued prize corner toys and a large dumpster in the back. Exploring a bit, he accidentally knocks the toys off a shelf and loses the Yarg Foxy he still had with him in them. He frantically tries to find the Yarg Foxy. While searching, he thinks about everything that has happened, and comes to regret his mistrust of his little sister. He makes plans to try to make up with her, but he has to find the Yarg Foxy first. Before he can find it, he notices a Lonely Freddy staring at him. Lonely Freddy says he wants to be "best friends" and begins to ask Alec simple questions but slowly, the questions begin to get strange. Lonely Freddy asks about Alec's fears, what he would do if he had to hurt someone he loved, and what his biggest regret is. Alec finds himself frozen to the spot, paralyzed by some force in the Lonely Freddy's gaze. During this, Alec's mother and sister come into the room, investigating the same thumping noise Alec did, which was coming from the dumpster in the back, though they leave when they are unable to see Alec paralyzed in the dark corner of the room.
Thinking he'll be free if he stops staring at Lonely Freddy, Alec closes his eyes, only to find Lonely Freddy gone once he opens them. Closing his eyes again, he slowly gains control over his body and shuffles to the door. He then begins to walk down a hallway which looks strangely much bigger than he remembered, only to be whacked into the arcade area when he gets hit by a door. From there, Alec finds a party room, seeing his family and what appears to be an exact copy of him. He tries to call out the imposter, but is unable to speak.
A girl named Charlotte at the party, who was given chocolate by the staff despite being warned that she was allergic, vomits all over him and his parents inform an employee who picks up the puke-soaked Alec. The fake Alec smiles at him as he's taken away, stolen green eyes gleaming. The employee tosses Alec into a bucket and takes him away while they go about some cleaning tasks. At this point Alec realizes that he is in the body of the Lonely Freddy when he sees his reflection in a bathroom mirror. Alec realizes that he has become a Lonely Freddy and that the Lonely Freddy that was questioning him before must have stolen his body.
The employee drops him into the thumping dumpster in the back room from before, which turns out to be filled with screaming Lonely Freddys, who presumable have all been body-swapped as well.
Trivia[]
