Fetch is a major antagonist in the first story of Fazbear Frights: Fetch. He was one of the animatronics at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. Sometime before the events of Fetch, the animatronic dog ended up getting possessed by a dead child named Andrew.
Appearance[]
Fetch appears to be based on a dog. It is short and round in appearance, sporting brown ears, brownish orange eyes, and a black collar. It also has a row of small teeth, a curved jaw, and small floppy cheeks.
Functionality[]
Although speechless, Fetch can communicate via phone texting, mostly using (sometimes peculiar) internet text slangs. Whenever his owner/master gets threatened or harmed, Fetch will mercilessly kill the provokers for vengeance.
History []
Fetch[]
Fetch is the main antagonist of the first story, Fetch. Although speechless, Fetch can communicate via phone texting, mostly using acronym texting slang. He was first found from the abandoned Freddy Fazbear's Pizza building by Greg, Hadi, and Cyril. Later after being discovered, Fetch gives Greg some unusual text messages via his phone on the next day. Fetch traces everything that did to Greg, as the animatronic brutally murdered the neighbor's dog for biting Greg after school, then moves the dog's corpse to Greg's backyard to let Greg witness this dreadful sight, before texting with "YW" ("You're welcome").
At the end, Fetch kills Greg's love interest Kimberly without Greg's knowledge, and brings her corpse to Greg's house. Disturbed to see Kimberly's corpse under the blanket after shower, Greg checked his phone and got one new text message from Fetch - “CU” ("See you").
Epilogue - 1:35AM[]
Sometime after the events of Fetch, he breaks down in a thunderstorm and is sold off, ending up in the possession of Dr. Phineas Taggart. Eventually, the Fetch animatronic itself is torn apart, while its battery is inserted in a lifeless endoskeleton that had large amounts of agony energy from other items being transferred into it. This endoskeleton goes on to kill Phineas and become The Stitchwraith.
Epilogue - Step Closer[]
Fetch was mentioned by Andrew during his conversation with Jake, saying that he was inside of him. Andrew stated that he remembered being in a place with lots of cool stuff, alongside the person who killed him. Andrew got his soul transferred to Fetch and was then transferred from Fetch to the Stitchwraith when the battery pack was inserted, thus explaining how he ended up with Jake.
Epilogue - Bunny Call[]
Detective Larson takes note of Fetch when reading the list of items found in Phineas Taggart's lab, with the animatronic dog being the linchpin that connected the Stitchwraith to Fazbear Entertainment, as well as a set of murders and a fire that took place several years ago. Fetch is also collected by the Stitchwraith and put in the collection of infected items alongside Ella and Plushtrap.
Epilogue - Blackbird[]
Fetch's parts are presumably thrown into the trash compactor and used for The Agony.
Epilogue - The Cliffs[]
Fetch's parts presumably drown at the bottom of a lake, alongside the other parts of the Miscreation, never to be seen again. The only part of him that remains is his battery pack, which continues to reside within the Stitchwraith. The battery pack is also used as energy to help Jake burn away Larson's infected wound.
Trivia[]
- Some fans suggest that Fetch was in 'The Twisted Ones', where in a scene, they're possibly mentioned by an unnamed animatronic called the "Black-Red Eyed Fanged Dog."
- This presumably isn't the case since Fetch has brownish orange eyes.
- Fetch is believed to be inspired by "Sparky the Dog," from a leaked FNAF game image, which turned out to be fan made.
- Fetch has technically appeared in every book since his debut, thanks to the Stitchwraith teasers at the end of each book.
