— Jessica's prayer at the hospital chapel, Frailty
|
Jessica is the protagonist of Frailty, the first story of Tales from the Pizzaplex: Lally's Game.
Physical Appearance[]
Jessica is slim and frail. She has long black hair that covers up most of her face. She has brown eyes that have become dark and faded over time with thick eyelashes and full and pretty lips. She often wears a black sweatshirt, black pants, and black sneakers.
History[]
Jessica, at some point, had found a heart shaped pendant and discovered that it had healing properties. She decides to use this supernatural force to help the less fortunate. Jessica is able to get a job as a janitor at her local hospital so that she can use the pendant to heal sick children when no one is around. She keeps to herself most of the time to not arouse suspicion. She uses a knife to slice off bits of the pendant, with the pieces landing on the person and healing them. However, this weakens her own body in the process.
She goes to school but is considered a social outcast due to her zombie-like appearance. Her first real form of companionship is a new boy named Robert. They partner up to create a robot for their science and engineering class. She is hesitant on opening up to him.
